A writer's new year resolutions

While I'm sure everyone wants to lose weight, get a new job, find love, and other such things, as an aspiring writer, I sought to derive a few choice selections to hopefully bring focus and further success to becoming a published author. To that effect, I have created the following resolutions:
  • New Years resolution 1: Write more—at least 500 words a day/at least four days a week.
  • New Years resolution 2: Engage the writing experience — attend at least six writering events in 2018, including conferences, speaking events, training, etc.
  • New Years resolution 3: Enhance the my writing group experience — attempt to get at least two established authors and/or editors to attend our weekly workshop to provide tips and tricks.

Again, just a few quick resolutions to get the year started off right. Hopefully, I can find time to also lose 10 or 40 pounds also!
